The following is a customers comments regarding two horses purchased from us sight-unseen from our recommendations only:

Hi Marlene and Doug,
Just a note to let you know Webster is fitting in just fine around here, I really like him more everyday… Thanks for all the good advice, it sure is nice to buy a horse from professionals, who really care about what they are doing and the products they are selling… Allison

Hi Doug & Marlene,
Honey Bed arrived this morning. She is absolutely beautiful. I am truly happy. I can see why she was special to you both.

I gave her a bath and fed her and she is doing fine. She has a covered stall and pasture right next to Tennaco so they both should be happy to be together again.

Thanks much for everything. Now I can relax for all of my horses are finally here.

I will keep in touch if I have any questions or need advice on what types of bits to use, etc.

Aloha & Mahalo

Hey there,
I don’t think I’ve ever told you guys have much I love “Eazi” and am really enjoying him. He is such a nice horse and tolerates me when I mess up.  As long as I ride right, he gets me a paycheck… Thanks again, Stace

Hi Doug and Marlene,
I took a roping clinic with Bobby Harris last weekend and I rode Leno pretty much the whole time.  He did so well, and is so easy to ride.  Bobby said to never sell him unless I ablsolutely had to because I would never find another one like him.  He actually wants first dibbs if I do ever sell him.  He said that it is hard to find such a high caliber of horse with such a quiet mind (which we all knew), but it was nice to hear it from a stranger.  I was just so impressed with Leno that I had to thank you guys again for finding him for me.  He babysat me all weekend and was so honest.  Thanks again! Hope all is well with you guys.

gather, sort cattle and rope one in the pasture on Smoke. I have taken him to some jackpot barrel races to exhibition and he is just like he is at home.  I prefer to run him to the left barrel first as this was most comfortable for him when I started him. He is gentle and try’s very hard to please. See me working him on barrels in the July 2008 issue of Barrel Horse News. This is a full page shot in an article about confirmation.

UPDATE: Smoke won 4th place in the 1D at his second barrel race! He is really coming into his own and working outstanding. He knows his job and does it very well. Private Treaty
months and he is galloping the pattern perfectly.  I have taken him to 4 jackpots to exhibition and he does great away from home. He is very gentle and good for anyone to ride.

UPDATE: Woodrow is now running the pattern and is really coming on. He won 4th in the 1D at his first jackpot! Price $20,000
NU TRASH – 2005 sorrel gelding standing 15.1 hands tall.  “Trash” is by The Nu Colonel by Nu Cash.  Out of a daughter of Mr Gun Smoke and Poco Pine.  He was a stallion until we bought him in his three year old year. Look at his pedigree and you will see why he was left a stallion.  He has been ridden on the ranch and to doctor wheat pasture cattle on in
the Texas panhandle. He has a terrific mind and moves beautifully. I really like this colt and have lightly started him on barrels.

UPDATE: Trash will compete at the 2010 San Antonio Ranch Gelding Competition and will be sold at the sale following the competition. If you have the opportunity to be there, do not miss it!
EXTREME ROSIE – 2002 bay mare that stands 15.2 hands tall. “Rosie” is by Rae Jet Extremes, by Sixarun by Streakin Six and out of a mare who goes back to Raise A Native. She is as smooth a turning horse as I have been on in a long time. She does her job effortlessly. Price $55,000
POVERTY'S TORNADO – 2000 brown gelding that stands 15.2 hands tall. “Tornado” is by Speedy Kirk, by Dr Kirk and out of a granddaughter of Easy Jet. He is a very gentle and kind gelding that likes to please. He has been roped on out in the pasture and in the arena. He is a solid barrel horse that will go as fast as you ask him.. Price $15,000
ANGEL JEAN LOUIS – 1995 brown gelding that stands 15 2 hands tall. AJ is by Five Star Tucker who goes back to Peppy San Badger and Doc Tom Tucker and his dam is Angel Twist To, who goes back to Thadius Toad and Jimmy Badger. He is great at everything he does.  He is a barrel, pole, and break away horse. He has been hauled to rodeos since he was 7 years.  AJ has been there
and done that, and he did it well. Requires very little maintenance since he has had the best of care. I sold this horse at age 7, have watched him mature into a winner and now he is back to sell to the next fortunate person that wants to ride a good one. Price $25,000.00
